Published:

The BCCI reported the Yearly Player Agreements, which will run from October 2022 to September 2023,
for India on March 26, with Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja evening out up to join Virat Kohli, Rohit
Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah in the A+ classification.

KL Rahul, who was given a Grade An agreement last year, has been downgraded to B, while both Axar
Patel and Hardik Pandya have been elevated to Grade A, from B and C separately. Remarkably, Pandya
who had moved from Grade B to An in the 2020-21 cycle, got back to activity in the wake of confronting
a lot of wellness gives that saved him uninvolved for expanded periods.

Suryakumar Yadav, who accepted his lady contract in 2021-22, has been elevated from Grade C to B, as
has Shubman Gill. Rishabh Gasp, R Ashwin and Mohammed Shami have been held in a similar Grade A
from the past cycle while Cheteshwar Pujara and Mohammed Siraj have likewise gotten a similar retainer
(Grade B) as a year ago. An outstanding downgrade is that of Shardul Thakur, who has slipped from
Grade B to C.
The greatest feature stays the expansion of Jadeja in the A+ classification, which is worth INR 7 crore
rather than INR 5 crore presented in Grade A. The Grade B and C contratcs, in the mean time, are worth
INR 3 and INR 1 crore, separately.
