IPL 2023: Will David Miller perform in the place of an injured Kane Williamson in the next game of the Gujarat Titans?

The team kicked off their IPL 2023 season by securing a convincing victory against Chennai Super Kings in the opening game of the tournament, and their reigning champs, the Gujarat Titans, are all set to play against the Delhi Capitals for their next game on Tuesday in Delhi.

The Hardik Pandya-led team sustained an injury to their batter, and New Zealand star Kane Williamson was forced to pull out because of an injury to his knee. But there’s something positive to be thankful for because the determined South Africa batter David Miller is celebrating his first performance in the GT training camp ahead of this game. It will be interesting to find out the role he’ll take in taking over Williamson in the playing XI, or even without.

In the first game, CSK posted a score of 179. Following this, Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 92 points from just 50 balls. Rashid Khan was chosen as the top bowler utilised in the game by GT after he scored figures of 2/26 within only 4 minutes. In the following, GT pursued the target by using a lot of balls, mainly because of Shubman Gill’s stunning score of 63 runs in only 36 balls. After that came quick performances by Rashid Khan (10* off 3 balls) and Rahul Tewatia (15* off 14 balls), which GT was successful in securing by taking five wickets.
