The Indian Premier League 2023 started on March 31st, and the Delhi Capitals took so long to win a game against the Kolkata Knight Riders on April 20. However, the Delhi side is very low in this year’s Indian Premier League 2023.
The Delhi teams took six games to make their maiden victory of four wickets in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Their bowlers did brilliant bowling against the KKR side, due to which they put up the 128-total score for the Delhi team.
It was Ishant Sharma, Anrich Nortje, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav who took two wickets individually in just four overs. whereas David Warner has also given remarkable performances along with Manish Pandey. While the opening batsman of the team, Prithvi Shaw, has disappointed the team again with his poor attempt in the game, However, the passionate player of the Delhi team is Axar Patel, who is fabulous in bowling as well as in batting, and no doubt he will help his team win more games in the ongoing tournament.
In the ongoing competition, David Warner has taken responsibility for the Delhi teams in the absence of their strongest skipper, Rishabh Pant. While Delhi got to face many losses in the IPL 2023, they are making efforts to give a good attempt in the competition. The next match between the Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be held on April 24th at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad.
