Ricky Ponting, the former Australian cricket captain and one of the greatest batsmen of all time himself, has often spoken highly of Sachin Tendulkar’s batting genius.

In an interview, Ponting once said that Tendulkar was the most complete batsman he had ever played against, describing him as someone who had no weaknesses in his game. He also went on to say that Tendulkar’s ability to play both pace and spin equally well was what set him apart from other batsmen.

Ponting has also spoken about Tendulkar’s incredible longevity, pointing out that he played at the highest level for over two decades and maintained an exceptionally high standard throughout his career. Ponting believes that Tendulkar’s work ethic, dedication, and love for the game were the keys to his success.

Sachin Tendulkar made his international debut on November 15, 1989, at the age of 16 years and 205 days. He played his first Test match against Pakistan in Karachi and his first ODI against the same team in Gujranwala.

It was clear from the start that Tendulkar was a special talent, and he went on to have one of the greatest careers in the history of cricket. He scored 15,921 runs in Test cricket and 18,426 runs in ODIs, both of which are records. He also scored 100 international centuries, a feat that no other batsman has achieved.

On April 24, Ricky Pointing recalled the past memory of a godman, Sachin Tendulkar, in an international cricket league on the occasion of Sachin’s birthday. I never met any other cricketer like him, and I love the way he played for his country in an international league during his period, says Pointing. However, Ponting has great respect for Tendulkar and considers him to be one of the greatest batsmen of all time.
