He followed it up with scores of 32, 2, 53, 7, 39, and 6 in the next seven matches before being dismissed for a duck in the last league game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Shaw’s performances in the IPL last season earned him the Player of the Match award three times, and he was also the leading run-scorer for the Delhi Capitals in the season. His aggressive style of batting at the top of the order played a crucial role in the Delhi Capitals’ successful campaign to reach the IPL final. But in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League 2023, Prithvi Shaw is unable to show his remarkable performance, and the reason behind this is that he is unfit to perform well for the Delhi team.
