Shubman Gill and KL Rahul are both talented Indian cricketers who have played at the opening position in Test matches for India. However, Michael put KL Rahul’s name forward instead of Shubman Gill in the Indian team to perform in the finals of the World Test Championship 2023. However, Ajinkya Rahane will be seen in action to play in the biggest tournament against Australia in June 2023.
Shubman Gill is a talented batsman with a bright future in Indian cricket. He has shown his potential in both domestic and international cricket and will be looking to continue his development in the IPL and other tournaments. However, he had the ability to play decent games for his country in the future.
Rahul is primarily known for his top-order batting skills and is widely regarded as one of the most consistent and technically sound batsmen in the IPL. He has scored more than 3000 runs in the IPL across his career so far. But, recently, he got judged by many seniors due to his strike rate in the IPL 2023. Hopefully, the selectors could make accurate decisions in making the Indian team strong enough in front of Australia’s squad to win the final of the test tournament.
