MS Dhoni is widely regarded as one of the greatest Indian cricketers of all time, especially for his achievements as a limited-overs captain. However, his Test career was also impressive, as he led India to the top of the ICC Test rankings for the first time in 2009 and became the first Indian captain to win a Test series in Australia in 2018–19.
In December 2014, Mahendra Singh Dhoni retired from the test series. Before leaving, he played 90 Test matches for India, scoring 4876 runs at an average of 38.09. He also took 256 catches and made 38 stumpings as a wicketkeeper, establishing himself as one of the finest in the game. Despite retiring from Test cricket in 2014, Dhoni’s contributions to the longest format of the game remain a significant part of his legacy.
