Sunil Gavaskar advised Rohit Sharma to take a break in the IPL to make a fresh start in the WTC finals.

The senior member of India, Sunil Gavaskar, has made one suggestion for the Mumbai Indians’ devoted captain Rohit Sharma: take a break for some time and get ready to play in the finals of the World Test Championship 2023. However, Captain Rohit has not yet decided to take a break in IPL 2023.

The all-time favourite team, the Mumbai Indians, has not shown good productivity in the Champions League, as they placed downstream instead of creating a good spot in the competition. The five-time winning team is being placed at number eight in the ongoing competition. How has this happened?

The only thing is that Sunil Gavaskar wants Rohit Sharma to take a leave at present to make a fresh start in the upcoming series. However, the head coach of Mumbai’s teams, Mark Boucher, has said that he didn’t think that Rohit needed any breaks. It’s just because he didn’t ask his senior about any breaks.

I didn’t think that Rohit Sharma required any further break from cricket in the most important competition. Obviously, we do like him playing for the Mumbai Indians, but if he wants a break, I can definitely provide him with one, says Mark Boucher. He is a dashing cricketer, always concerned for his teammates, and has a great leadership quality in his mind, as quoted by Mark.

The World Test Championship finals are scheduled between India and Australia on June 7 at The Oval in London.
