The Mumbai Indians’ devoted captain, Rohit Sharma, has given an appreciation mark to the super-strong cricketer of the Rajasthan Royals, Yashasvi Jaiswal, because of his fabulous run contribution in the last match of the IPL 2023. However, the Rajasthan Royals failed to win the match that was held against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
On April 30, the Mumbai Indians chased a six-wicket victory in the match against the Rajasthan Royals. After the match ended, the skipper, Rohit, thanked Yashasvi Jaiswal for playing such a mind-blowing game on Sunday. However, the 124-run contribution has not helped his side win the game against the five-time champion Mumbai Indians at an iconic venue.
I truly appreciate the performance of the Rajasthan side’s Yashasvi Jaiswal, who batted amazingly in the limited-overs match. The 21-year-old player has managed his batting so well to get the player of the match mark in the last games of the IPL, says captain Rohit Sharma.
I had no idea when I hit the last ball to count the century, as I am thankful to God for everything that I did in the last game. I just want to keep more focus on my game and to create good processes that can be helpful for me to achieve more in the cricket league, says Jaiswal.
It is quite impressive that the Mumbai Indians have made progress in the ongoing cricket league. However, they still need to do some more hard work to reach the finals of the Indian Premier League in 2023. However, the Rajasthan Royals are still in the top third position in the competition and have still more hope of winning the IPL title in 2023.
