India is facing an injury alert ahead of the World Test Championship finals against Australia.

Published:

The World Test Championship finals will take place between India and Australia on June 7 at the Oval. Ahead of the test finals, India is likely to face some issues regarding its squad, as most of the players were injured and incapable of playing in the test match against Australia.

Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer already missed the Indian squad due to their health issues. And also, they have missed a chance to perform for their respective teams in the Indian Premier League in 2023. However, due to the fitness issue of the fastest bowler in India, Jasprit Bumrah’s name was not included in the squad for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

During the LSG vs. RCB match, the Lucknow team’s skipper, KL Rahul, was injured with a hamstring, and Jaydev Unadkat was slapped down so badly during the net practice on Sunday that his shoulder got damaged. For that reason, he needed some rest to get fit. However, both contestants are not fit to play in the next match.

However, Ajinkya Rahane is all set to play an unbeaten knock in the finals of the World Test Championship in 2023. Along with Rahane, Shubman Gill is also undertaking action to play amazingly under captain Rohit. While Cheteshwar Pujara and King Kohli will also try to score more for their side in the test finals that will be held in June 2023,

Josh Hazlewood, who took two mind-blowing wickets in just three overs in his first IPL match, has helped RCB chase victory over LSG in the IPL. He is also looking ahead to playing with a big flow in the finals of the test series.
