The Kolkata Knight Riders have already missed so many of the greatest cricketers involved in their team in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League in 2023. However, Nitish Rana tried hard to keep balancing their game in the ongoing season.

Under skipper Nitish Rana, the Kolkata Knight Riders have won only three out of nine IPL games. And so, they are placed at the number eight position with six points and an NRR of -0.147. However, they are still holding out hope of dominating the game to get placed in the playoffs of the IPL 2023.

According to the latest reports from KKR, the franchise owner has shed light on the involvement of such people as are missing from their team, which means they face some more issues in making good positions in the ongoing cricket competition. He has also highlighted whether they face complications after not retaining Shubman Gill in their team during an IPL auction.

We are not afraid of missing such strong players in our team who are doing mind-blowing work for another team. It is really a joyful thing to see those players [Shubman Gill] whom we trained, and they are actually doing outstanding work for another team, says Venkey Mysore.

The dashing cricketer was known to be the highest scorer of the season after making 483 runs within five games for his respective team in the previous year of the IPL. However, right now he has also made around 333 runs in just eight innings with an average of 41.62.
