The Chennai Super Kings leader, MS Dhoni, faced questions about his retirement from the IPL during the match against LSG on Wednesday, in which no result was declared. However, his answer was that he was definitely not retiring and would continue to act for CSK.

MS Dhoni retired from the International tournament on August 15, 2020. He retired from all formats of the game, including Test cricket, one-day internationals (ODIs), and T20 internationals (T20Is).

Dhoni’s retirement marked the end of a glittering international career, during which he became one of India’s most successful captains and players. He performed in 90 Tests, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20Is for India, in which he made 10,000 runs, and took over 600 catches.

He is widely regarded as one of the greatest limited-overs cricketers of all time, known for his calm and composed captaincy, exceptional wicket-keeping skills, and brilliant finishing abilities with the bat. He led India to victories in the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2010 and 2016 Asia Cups, the 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as MS Dhoni, has been one of the most successful and iconic players in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). As a former captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team, he has played a crucial role in the team’s success over the years. Here are some of his performances in the IPL:

During the LSG vs. CSK match, the commentator, Danny Morrison, raised the question again to ask MS Dhoni about retiring from the IPL on Wednesday. It is your last year in the Indian Premier League, and you are enjoying every moment, right? Says Danny. You have decided about my retirement, not me, answered Dhoni. However, Harbhajan Singh also says that if Dhoni continues to perform well in the next season as well, then his fans will be happier, as they like to watch Dhoni’s batting in the IPL.

The next match of the Chennai Super Kings will be held against the Mumbai Indians on May 6 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
