LSG 2023: KL Rahul was ruled out of the Indian Premier League in 2023 due to injury.

Published:

The second-highest team in the Indian Premier League, the Lucknow SuperGiants, had their captain, KL Rahul, officially ruled out of the tournament. However, he dealt with a hamstring injury and was unfit to continue in action in the Indian Premier League in 2023.

KL Rahul is a talented Indian batsman who plays for the Punjab Kings (formerly Kings XI Punjab) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He made his IPL debut in 2013 and has since been a regular feature in the Punjab Kings squad.

In a match against the Mumbai Indians in 2021, Rahul scored 71 runs off just 36 balls, hitting six fours and five sixes in his innings. He played with great aggression and was instrumental in setting up a big total for his team. After this, he officially became the captain of the newly added team Lucknow SuperGiants in the 15th edition of the IPL, in which his side got a place in the playoffs but was unable to reach the finals to win the title.

In the ongoing IPL season, the Lucknow SuperGiants have maintained their team’s standard to stay in the top position in the tournament. The 11 points are the actual score of the Lucknow team, and they will make sure to reach the finals of the competition to get the title. However, KL Rahul will miss many opportunities in the upcoming term. Hopefully, he can get well soon to help his side dominate for maximum victories in future leagues.
