Head to Head: A Comparative Analysis of Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav’s ODI Records

Published:

India won by five wickets in the first ODI match against the West Indies. The Rajasthan Royal Cricketer has been ignored by the Indian selector in the above-mentioned cricket series. Nevertheless, Suryakumar Yadav has not played up to par in the match against WI.

Suryakumar had contributed only 19 runs, which was unexpected from the team. It was quite disappointing that he played badly in the T20 tournament as well. While it was the reason why India had not elected him to perform in the two test matches.

If we analyze the scores of the two players, Yadav had made 19, 0, 0, 0, 14, and 31 in his last game, which is not that powerful. Sanju Samson, on the other hand, has created 36, 2*, 30*, 86*, 15*, and 43*. But, still, he had not received a Roadmap for playing in the International series under Team India.

On a typical note, Sanju Samson’s average-based performance was high, at 66 in 11 games. whereas Yadav’s average scores were 23.78 in 24 matches. However, team India should consider Samson to perform well on the Ireland tour, and based on his attempt, he can provide an opportunity to play in the ODI World Cup this year.
