Sanjay Manjrekar is concerned about Hardik Pandya’s performance in the 2023 World Cup

Published:

Hardik Pandya’s original form of performance was missing from the recently ended West Indies tour. India faced a Western team in the five-match T20 series, in which they dominated just two games. However, Sanjay Manjrekar has expressed concern for the beloved cricketer of the country.

Hardik Pandya doesn’t play in the portion of the game where he hits massive scores in limited overs against the West Indies. The former cricketer has made an alteration to his form ahead of the ODI World Cup in 2023. In fact, he was the role model for each person during the 50-over tour and, subsequently, the five-match T20 series against the Western side.

He managed a solitary half-century in the one-day internationals and made 77 runs in four innings in the limited edition. Though he is an all-rounder, he managed to take a single wicket during the 50-over tournament and four wickets in the T20 series.

The experienced former cricketer of our country, Sanjay Manjrekar, has highlighted the bowling unit of an all-round cricketer. He expressed concern that the elegant performance of Hardik was missing, and so the country’s score in the World Cup 2023 is in danger. I have no idea how India will manage their survival in the ICC events if such players miss playing in their original format, says Sanjay Manjrekar.
