According to Jos Buttler, Harry Brook still has a chance to qualify for the World Cup

Jos Buttler, the captain of England’s white-ball team, said that young star Harry Brook is merely unfortunate not to be in the ODI squad right now and that he may still reach the ODI World Cup’s final squad if a chance arises. Red-ball captain Ben Stokes, who declared his ODI departure last year, has taken his spot. Stokes has announced his return, although he won’t be bowling in the 50-over format since he is now experiencing knee issues, following a good meeting with the ECB.

But the selectors are still keeping an eye on Brook. He recently played a scorching knock in the Hundred 2023, scoring 105 runs in 42 deliveries, and ever since, he has been the buzz of the town. When Buttler was eventually questioned over Brook’s absence from the national squad, the captain praised the middle-position batter for his recent efforts and reassured him that he was still important to the overall plan.

We’ll be watching what happens because there is still a long time until everyone is supposed to board the plane. Harry is a tremendous player, as we all know from seeing him the other night. We all know what a great player he is, so it’s not surprising at all,” Buttler was reported to the Cricket News channel. “He’s just the unfortunate one right now to not be in that group right now.
