The Indian cricket team is making final preparations for the Asia Cup. They are taking yo-yo tests while they are at a camp in Alur, Karnataka. According to a report by the news organisation PTI, the talented opener Shubman Gill has won with a notch of 18.7. All players who have taken the YoYo test so far have exceeded the cut-off level, with Virat Kohli posting an astounding 17.2 on his Instagram story.Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, Tilak Varma [Young Batsman], Sanju Samson (a reserve for the Asia Cup), and KL Rahul are the only cricketers who have finished the test out of the five. The Asia Cup-bound India team is off to a fast start with the closed-door boot camp in Alur, where the team members are going through normal fitness examinations in preparation for the continental competition, which starts on August 30.Since the Yo-yo test measures aerobic endurance fitness, the results may differ depending on when you last played the game and how much work you accomplished in the previous week. Under the condition of anonymity, a BCCI official familiar with the situation informed PTI that the majority of the players had scores between 16.5 and 18.As this was the only opportunity before the inaugural World Cup at home in October, the BCCI organised the fitness and conditioning camp.
