Asia Cup 2023: Haris Rauf won’t bowl on the reserve day against India.

Published:

Haris Rauf, the Men in Green, won’t be found on field in the going-on India vs. Pakistan clash at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo as per precautionary maintenance following a supposed side strain on Sunday, September 10.

The amount of injury is yet to be disclosed, but the Pakistan Cricket Board [PCB] along with the men in green have decided not to force him to perform in the match against Rohit Sharma & Co.

Notably, Haris bowled in just five overs and submitted only 27 runs without any wicket in just a moment before he went to scan his health. However, the PCB has confirmed that Rauf has to undergo some rest with no tears in his eyes, and his health is under observation.

He subsequently underwent a health care MRI, which revealed that the health issue was not very harmful and he could recover soon. He will take full precaution under the medical team of the PCB, as stated by the PCB governor.

Meanwhile, the Indians have posted 251 runs with two wickets lost on the specified day before the arrival of raindrops at the destination, Colombo. Beforehand, the match was shifted to the reserve day on Monday, September 11.
