Anrich Nortje and Temba Bavuma have been ruled out of the fourth ODI against Australia due to injuries; Aiden Markram will lead the team

Published:

Anrich Nortje, South Africa’s prime cricketer, has been caught out of the ongoing ODI series against Australia. He will be unable to perform in the upcoming fourth and fifth ODIs due to a lower back ailment. Nortje stepped off the field in the second ODI with the same problem.

Additionally, the greatest cricketer, Temba Bavuma, was also ruled out of the fourth ODI match on Friday, September 15, because of the adductor strain. Markram is currently handling the T20 squad of South Africa and has also led the team in chasing victory in the sixth ODI match so far. And he will seek to put his performance on top as a leader both on and off the field in the next match of the series.

The Proteas will be more excited to score well in the fourth ODI match of the series. Australia is currently leading 1-2, and they have the chance to win the series if they can triumph in the fourth ODI match.

Due to the absence of Bavuma and Nortje, South Africa’s starting lineup will be significantly depleted, making it difficult for the hosts to defeat the hot Australians. In the first three ODIs, the South Africa captain has scored 114, 46, and 57 runs.
