India and Australia are looking ahead to playing the first ODI match on Friday, September 22nd, at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. Ahead of the 1st ODI match, the Aussies got two big setbacks, as left-arm seamer Mitchell Starc and all-rounder Glenn Maxwell were unavailable for a couple of games.
However, Australia’s captain, Pat Cummins, will be looking forward to anticipating that both contenders will get back to their teams soon. Starc is still awaiting to get their team back soon in the clash against India. He sustained the injury during the Ashes 2023, and Maxwell has also left out of the recently anticipated match against South Africa series because of ankle discomfort and will join the squad on Friday, September 22nd.
The Indians are also planning to give the newly added cricketers a great opportunity in the upcoming ODI World Cup.
