Tamim Iqbal was ruled out of the Bangladesh squad for the World Cup Clash 2023

Published:

Recently, Bangladesh declared their 15-player crew for the upcoming ICC events without including their superior cricketer in the team. Tamim Iqbal, the prominent batter, was not included in the team of the Bengal Tigers for the ODI World Cup 2023.

Tamim is currently fighting a back injury, and this has allowed his side to make changes in the squad at the last moment. However, Shakib AI Hasan is going to play a leading role in the forthcoming ICC Cricket Clash. The selection community has himself considered the back injury of the veteran player while finalising the crew. The genuine reason Tamim was excluded from the international tournament

The change in team has not caused any changes in the spirit of Bangladeshi players, as they themselves consider themselves the strongest competitors in the upcoming ICC cricket competition. They will be in action against Afghanistan in the third match of the Cricket World Cup 2023.
