Shakib Al Hasan discusses his desire to leave the international tournament after the Champions Trophy in 2025

Shakib AI Hasan has exceeded his desire to retire from international cricket after finishing the forthcoming tournament. Before leaving, he was to play an unbeaten knock in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The Bangladeshi cricketer is looking for a call to action in his anticipated international cricketing career after finishing the 2025 Championship Trophy in Pakistan. He has disclosed his plans to retire from the Test series once he finishes playing in the upcoming ODI World Cup. Later on, he will take a leave from the T20I tournament after the end of the ICC T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the United States of America.

Speaking with the Cricket News reporter, Shakib has admitted that the 2025 Champions Trophy for ODIs and the 2024 T20I World Cup will be his last two important series where he will be found productive to provide good help to his country in winning any of the international cricket series.

It will retire from each of the cricket series earlier, after finishing the important cricket tournaments. He will be found leading his squad in the forthcoming ODI World Cup, says Shakib AI Hasan. Previously, he led Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2023.
