The England Cricket Team reached Guwahati to play two warm-up matches of the ODI World Cup 2023

England, the World Cup champions, successfully arrived in Guwahati on Friday. They will play their first warm-up match against the host, India. The spin all-rounder Adil Rashid and batsman Joe Root, along with the senior crew members, were captured walking towards their team bus.

Additionally, the India opener, Shubman Gill, also arrived in Guwahati at the same time the England crew reached their destination. In their opening exhibition game, England will take against India on September 30 in Guwahati’s Barsapara Cricket Stadium.

The next match for India will be on October 3 against the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram. England will take on Bangladesh on October 2nd in Guwahati. The ICC event is officially going to begin on October 5, in which two 2019 Cricket World Cup finalists, England and New Zealand, will perform in Ahmedabad.

Meanwhile, India will begin their ODI World Cup campaign against the World Test Championship-winning team, Australia, on October 8 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
