Yuvraj Singh wants Chahal or Washington to replace Axar Patel in India’s ODI World Cup squad, not Ravichandran Ashwin

The Indian cricket team is fixed with numerous quality players, but either Yuzvendra or Washington should get an opportunity to line up on the home team for an international cricket rivalry, according to Yuvraj Singh.

The 2011 ICC World Cup Superstar Yuvraj has made a choice of spinners that could be Axar Patel’s replacement. He thinks that the Selection Committee should have allowed two of these two veteran cricketers, Yuzvendra Chahal or Washington Sundar, to replace injured Axar Patel.

They are the greatest attackers that bowl to pick many more wickets in limited-overs only. I think their aggressive quality will deliberately help them get excellent results. In fact, if India could do this, their chances of winning the ICC Cricket World Cup would also increase, says Yuvraj Singh to PTI in the exclusive interview.

Coming towards the performers, the skills of Ravichandran Ashwin are lower than those of Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra. Ashwin was added to the country’s team to perform in their primary match of the ODI format against Australia. And later on, he might be added to the 15-member team of India, as Washington and Chahal missed out on the tournament.
