Yashasvi Jaiswal breaks Shubman Gill’s 48-ball century record

Published:

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the veteran cricketer, has done phenomenal work for the winning team in the Asian Men’s Games 2023. However, India won the first quarter-final match against Nepal on October 3 at Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field, Hangzhou.

The opener, Jaiswal, has smashed the score of Shubman Gill by hitting a century while facing 48 balls in the T20 format. His personality looks quite effective, as he batted exceptionally well to get placed in the semi-finals of the Asian Games Men’s 2023.

Shubman Gill was 23 years and 146 days old when he scored his first T20I knock for India. During his earlier days, Gill submitted around 126 runs off 63 deliveries to surpass the score of Virat Kohli, who made 122 runs on 61 balls in the T20 match against Afghanistan in the past.

On the other hand, Jaiswal reached such a winning record at the age of 19 years, 8 months, and 13 days. In short, he is the youngest cricketer in the nation who played such an exceptional game in the limited edition.

Finally, India reached the semi-final match of the series after defeating Nepal by just 23 runs. Now, it’s quite amazing to know which team will compete against India in the semi-final round of the Asian Men’s Games.
