Australia vs South Africa, World Cup 2023, Live Score: Quinton De Kock yet to hit century as South Africa rolls against Australia

Published:

South Africa is cruising to victory against Australia in their World Cup 2023 match at the Ekana Sports City in Lucknow. Quinton de Kock has hit a fifty, and the Proteas are currently 156/1 after 28.1 overs.

Australia won the toss and elected to field, but de Kock and his opening partner, Temba Bavuma, have put on a solid partnership so far. De Kock has been the more aggressive of the two, hitting eight fours and four sixes to contribute 90 runs to his team. Temba has also been playing well, and he has scored around 35 runs so far.

The Australian bowlers have struggled to contain the South African batsmen, and they have conceded several loose deliveries. Mitchell Starc has been the most expensive bowler so far, conceding 13 runs in three overs without attacking the batsman’s field. But the amazing thing is that Maxwell has taken one wicket of Bavuma in just five overs only to keep their team spirit of winning the game.
