Shubman Gill returns to the Indian squad for the Cricket World Cup 2023 cricket conflict against Pakistan on Saturday, October 14. He has missed starting two matches that happened against Australia and Afghanistan due to a spell of dengue.

Gill’s return in the competition will be the biggest asset, as he is the ruler of highest run scorer in the ODIs World Cup 2023. He was found to be scoring 1200 runs at an average of 70. Including this, he also made two big centuries and five half-centuries. However, he has replaced Ishan Kishan in the playing squad, and as usual, he will be opening the game along with Captain Cool, Rohit Sharma, in the pavilion event.

Following the toss, Rohit Sharma announced the playing XI for the India vs. Pakistan cricket war and stated that in addition to Shubman Gill, the Ishan Kishan need to stay out of the competition. This decision is made while keeping in mind that the Men in Blue want to win the match at any cost.
