Meg Lanning, the Australian women’s leader, is optimistic and concerned regarding her future in sports but has chosen not to answer about her participation in the upcoming tour against India. However, she previously led the Ashes in England and was left out due to a health issue. But she is now preparing for the Melbourne Stars WBBL season. Lanning didn’t mention his recent extended break from cricket over the past two years.
Australia’s cricket team is gearing up for the par-day, including-night pink ball test against India in December 2023. This significant match will be held at India’s iconic location, Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, marking India’s first home women’s test cricket match since 2014.
Meanwhile, Australia’s captain was absent from the recent tournament against the West Indies. However, the possibility suggests that she might be available to the team for the momentous day-night test in Mumbai in December 2023.
I have not decided that much and have not planned anything yet for the India tour. I am back to play some of the games, which will be good enough. But, exactly as per the situation, I am not sure, says Lanning after she came in front of the media within six months.
