The Netherlands, after winning by 38 runs against South Africa in Dharamsala, claimed their first victory in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. However, South Africa is still in top position and is confident enough to cover up such wins in the next game.
Scott Edwards, the Netherlands captain, was much impressed by his slide performance in the ODI World Cup match against South Africa. The Netherlands outplayed Temba Bavuma and his team by 38 runs on October 17 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
After the Dharamsala wins, Scott has admitted that his cricketing crew was on the right track while expressing his happiness after dominating the game for the first time. The WK and Batsman have expressed their happiness after registering their first campaign win. However, the skipper said that they also gained confidence in the forthcoming ICC event. The captain is looking forward to their better reach in the ongoing ODI World Cup.
